Children's fashion pattern in Malaysia : Infants 0 to 3 years old

In order to understand how Malaysian parents dress up their babies from 0 to 3 years old before bringing them to the street, rather by guessing, we have done some primary research by observing the outfit of babies in the public and interviewing their parents. However, for infants 0 to 3 years old, their outfit will most probably chose by their parents as they are too young to make decision.
The observation were done in the public places such as shopping mall and restaurants.

The outfit of this 3 years old baby girl was a very good combination of colors that make her looked adorable

The outfit of this 2 years has showed the feminine side of hers.

The outfit of this 1 year old baby girl make her looke like a little angel. A jacket has added on was belive to be the cold temperature of the environment which was a big minus mark for this outfit.

This 1 year old baby girl looked charming in the set of Christmas theme jumpsuit. The red hat with some fake hair looked annoying rather than cute.

The flower band on this1 1 year old baby looked fabulous, but the socks was a big ''no no''.

There were way too much polka dots in this outfit which make this 2 years old baby girl look messy, however, the hairband looked good on her.

The white legging on this 2 years old baby girl has pulled down the overall look for this dress.
Apart from that, we also interviewed few parents on the street but majority of them refused to appear in our blog, we were fortunately enough to captured their babies outfit with their permission

This 3 years old baby girl looked good in light pink shirt and red pants, this was a very good combination of colors

The hat on this 1 year old baby girl make her looked fashionable. The blue long sleeves dress has some kind of vintage feel.

The hair band of this 2 years old baby girl wasl a minus mark as the flowers were bigger than her head.


This blue dress willl looked perfect on this baby girl if her parents add on a hat for her.

This suit has various combination of colors which was creative in a word.

This outfit looked perfect if only the hat wasn't pink in color. Darker color hat would be fine as the dress was pink in color.

Black shoes and pink dress were a good combination of colors and the hat looked fine on her.

Pink shoes and pink dress seems lack of creativity, the footwear should be in darker color to match with the pink dress.

Both shirt and pants were yellow in color that create a very "plain" feel, either one should be different color to looked more attractive.
In conclusion, majority of the parents will dress up their babies in various colors outfit rather than just single color that looks bored. Moreover, accessories such as socks, hats, etc play a very important role to make this cuties looked good in their outfit. Above are some of the examples on how Malaysian parents would dress up their infants.
